FREE Winter Break Activity for Kids! Bring the kids, ages 5 and up, into the store for an age appropriate activity + craft. The topic is Hibernation. Learn about the critters that hibernate and create a related craft! The activity will be conducted, again, by the famous Slingerlands Elementary School Teacher (Retired), Mrs. Kathy Raffe!

Our Chief Naturepreneur will discuss nesting box history, design, placement, and maintenance, as well as the requirements for specific birds. We'll also talk about other types of nesting birds and how you might help them, too. We'll end by attempting to answer your questions and addressing your specific besting box problems and issues. Whispering Willows Wild Care will bring several live owls and hawks to visit Wildbird Junction. Stop in and get up close and personal with these beautiful and majestic birds. Learn all about the miraculous work the Whispering Willows staff does to rehabilitate injured or ill wild birds and other animals. There will be a raffle for a $50 Wildbird Junction gift certificate during this event. All proceeds will go to Whispering Willows Wildcare.
